Mercedes Benz Museum

The Mercedes Benz Museum by UNStudio is a handsome architectural solution to the old Corbusian promenade. It is curious that the architects have juxtaposed the plan to modern and post-modern museum icons as Mies' New National Gallery in Berlin and Rogers' Pompidou Center in Paris; almost as if declaring a nouveau modernism themselves, as opposed to challenging the modernist notions of form, organization and metaphoric form.
